JV/V Volleyball win season opener; Boys soccer falls short in opener

The 2024-2025 athletic season started tonight with VCA's JV and Varsity girls volleyball and Varsity boys soccer teams heading to Heritage Christian. JV Volleyball won two sets to none (25-12, 25-9) for their first win of the season. The varsity volleyball team followed after with a 3-1 set win (15-25, 25-15, 25-10, 25-16) for their first win too. They came back to win three straight sets after dropping the first set. The boys soccer team fell in their season opener in a tough conference game 3-6. Volleyball's next match will be Tuesday 8/20 at HAST for JV and Varsity. Soccer's next match is tomorrow 8/17 at Trinity School at Greenlawn in South Bend.
